Where Culture Triumphs and Remote Becomes Real
Once a year, we close our laptops, step away from dashboards and stand-ups, and meet in the real world not as coworkers, but as people

The Annual Mutters Trip isn’t just a tradition at Muttdata. It’s the moment where our culture becomes tangible, where the distance of remote work collapses into hugs, stories, laughter, and the feeling of belonging to something bigger. Each AMT is a living reminder that culture isn’t written. It’s experienced. And this year, in the quiet, dreamy forests of Cariló, we experienced it fully.
Day 1 - Welcome to the AMT
“For first timers, it’s impossible to imagine what’s waiting on the other side.”
The trip began with a long bus ride and the growing anticipation of seeing familiar faces again or meeting new ones for the very first time. When we arrived in Cariló, it felt like stepping into a storybook. Tall trees, winding paths, wooden houses that looked like they belonged in fairy tales, and a coastline warmed by sunlight even on a chilly morning.
As people settled in, the hotel filled with greetings echoing from every hallway “Hey! How have you been?” “What’s new with you?”
It was a reunion in every sense of the word.

That afternoon, our CEO Juan Pampliega gave a formal opening to the experience with Welcome to the AMT 2025 a talk that connected where we are, how far we’ve come since last year, and what’s ahead. But then came a moment no one expected.
Just when the applause softened, the lights shifted, and the marketing team stepped forward.
A beat of silence.
And then the reveal.
Our brand evolution.
A year of work, hundreds of decisions, thousands of small choices, all unveiled in a single moment. Screens lit up, eyes widened, and the room filled with whispers, smiles, and the kind of energy that only comes when a team sees its future take shape right before its eyes.
Questions flew, jokes landed, applause erupted.
In an instant, AMT 2025 had transformed from a company trip into a celebration.

Day 2 - A Myriad of Collaboration
Day 2 began with a burst of energy breakfast, sunshine, and then straight into challenges that put teamwork to the test. The Muttlimpics, usually played remotely during the year, finally came to life in person.
Mixed teams from every corner of Mutt were tasked with designing flags, writing chants, and competing in games that demanded creativity, strategy, and a good dose of silliness. Watching mutters from different teams run, build, draw, and laugh together made one thing obvious:
This is what culture looks like in motion.
Ownership made playful.
Collaboration made joyful.
Curiosity made competitive.

When the ultimate winners were crowned, cheers erupted but the real victory was seeing people who rarely cross paths at work suddenly united like old friends.

Later in the afternoon, our CEO, Juan Pampliega, returned for a keynote focused on 2026: where we’re going, why it matters, and how we’ll get there together. It was a grounding moment one that connected the fun of the morning to the purpose that drives us forward.
The day closed with the beloved Muttito Awards, recognizing the mutters who best embodied our values throughout 2025. We celebrated them loudly with laughter, dancing, and the kind of shared pride that fills a room.

Day 3 - See You Soon
By the third morning, Cariló had become its own little universe.
People packed their bags slowly, lingering in hallways and breakfast tables for just one more conversation. The mood was softer, warmer the kind of goodbye that isn’t really goodbye.
We shared one last meal, one last round of jokes, one last moment by the sunlit forest. And then it was time.
As we boarded the buses, it was clear what this AMT had left us with:
A new brand, a new year ahead, and a renewed understanding of who we are together.
Our coworkers aren’t just faces on a screen.
They are people with stories, humor, kindness, curiosity, and an unstoppable amount of Nerdiness.
People who choose to build, grow, and dream as one team.
And when we look back on AMT 2025, we won’t just remember Cariló.
We’ll remember how it felt to belong fully, joyfully, unmistakably to Muttdata.

Our Culture, Unplugged: The Moments That Make Us Mutt
Beyond the logistics, planning, and months of preparation, the real magic of the AMT comes from the Mutters themselves. Every year, the trip becomes something new shaped by the energy, creativity, humor, and chaos each person brings along.
By the time we got back home, Slack was already exploding with photos, reflections, memes, and memories… a second wave of connection that reminded us how lucky we are to build this together.
Because being a Mutter isn’t just about the work we do. It’s about co-creating something bigger a culture that lives in the way we collaborate, support each other, grow together, and make space for joy.
And hey if all of this makes you wish you were packing for the next trip… maybe you should be.
